Sports Performance Technician

This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

UCFB are recruiting for a Sports Performance Technician.

They will provide Sport Performance support to academic staff, coaches, analysts, undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Key Tasks

  • Develop a performance analysis programme within UCFB that can compliment curriculum by providing a blend of innovative solutions alongside current best practice.
  • Enhance coach and student feedback, and subsequently, enhance player/coach development through the provision of analytical interventions that underpin improved performance.
  • Prepare, film, analyse and feedback both individual and team performances for all assigned squads.
  • Provide key analysis information on the performances of UCFB Academy teams and individuals to assist both the player and coach feedback processes, utilising the full range of Sports Science and Performance Analysis tools available at UCFB.
  • Ensure that students have the support structure to fully understand and utilise sports performance resources and software, e.g. PA software, GPS units etc.
  • To use video editing and transcoding to assist staff and students in their recording, coding and analysis of coaching.
  • Create an innovative system to manage hardware and software bookings for staff and students and ensure this system is up to date at all times.
